Description: 

Panhypopituitary deficiency as a result of pituitary necrosis secondary to severe postpartum hemorrhage is an illness that is easily overlooked. This is a report of a woman who suffered with undiagnosed panhypopituitary deficiency for several years without detection or treatment. The diagnosis was made only in the face of an acute crisis.
