Amoebiasis In Saskatchewan | Native Health Database

Description:

Amoebiasis has been found to be endemic in northwestern Saskatchewan. The carrier rate among the Treat Indians in the area is probably of the order of 50% or higher. Mass treatment has already been brought to 700 persons. Further surveys are planned to define the total extent of the problem. Presented at the 56th annual meeting of the Canadia Pub Health Assn, Edmonton, Alberta, May 31-June 3, 1965. Bibliography.
