Falls and fall prevention among older adult indigenous people of Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States: A systematic review
Description:
A systematic review was conducted to identify peer-reviewed publications using numerous databases. Key words used were combinations of terminology for ‘accidental’ (term used in databases for ‘unintentional’) falls and indigenous status. No filters or restrictions were applied to study designs, year of publication, or age of the study population due to the varied age groups used in abstract publications. In addition to the database searching, targeted searching was conducted for records within two key subject area journals, Injury Prevention and Aboriginal Health Research
