Mound excavations at sites in Michigan unearthed long bones and skulls of members of an unnamed tribe, possibly Hurons. Many skulls had been trephined, either before or after death. The author speculates on reasons for the perforations. A table giving the dimensions and other data on the crania is included. Very poor copy.
