Urban Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit Report: Aggregate Results from Urban Indian Health Organizations, 2007-2011

The purpose of this report is to provide a description of the annual Indian Health Service (IHS) Diabetes Care and Outcomes Audit data collected by participating IHS funded Urban Indian Health Organizations (UIHOs). This report’s format is based on the IHS Diabetes Best Practice Guidelines, first developed in 2001 by a workgroup coordinated by the IHS Division of Diabetes Prevention and Treatment and most recently updated in 2011. Included in the report are selected “key measures” from the Best Practice Guidelines, with accompanying aggregated data from participating UIHOs for the years 2007-2011. 50 p.
