Psychology Of Feminine Genital Bleeding

Description:

Mohave puberty and menstrual rites are correlated with beliefs and practices pertaining to such other forms of genital bleeding as defloration and childbirth. It is suggested that these phenomena are closely interrelated psychologically and can be coordinated with each other by means of a central fantasy in which coitus is fantasized as the means whereby the maternal body may be robbed of its contents, thereby causing intense genital hemorrhage.
