Cancer Among the Navajo 1994-2004

This report was produced in response to professional and community concerns that cancer may be increasing among the Navajo. Our intent is three-fold: 1) to help broaden our understanding of cancer; 2) inform patients, family members, providers, public health professionals, educators, community members,and policy makers about cancer among the Navajo people; and 3) strategize to improve cancer prevention,education, and treatment. 44 p.
