Hepatocyte nuclear factor-1: a private mutation in Oji-Cree associated with type 2 diabetes.

Description: 

The especially high prevalence of diabetes in the Oji-Cree suggests a genetic predisposition to the disease that has been unmasked by recent lifestyle changes. The authors of this study identified a new mutation that may be a possible link to the prevalence of the disease.
