The Profile aims to provide an accurate picture of the Navajo population throughout the U.S. to identify target or at risk populations when assessing the health status of the Navajo people. Other factors and determinants affecting the health of the Navajo people including socioeconomic status, environmental conditions, poverty status, and access to quality medical care need further evaluation and research and the Profile provides a baseline of the target or at risk populations. 53 p.
