Serum protein types in Polar Eskimos.

The Gm, Hp and Gc serum types in nearly all the inhabitants of Thule who were over the age of 10 years were investigated. Because of the precise information available it was possible to distinguish one group of original Polar Eskimos. In the calculation of the gene frequencies the authors have used the ‘weighting systems’ described by Cotterman for the assessment of the gene frequencies in populations in which related individuals are included in the material.
