This former Indian Agent at Nett Lake was an acquaintance of George Farmer, medicine man, who kept a large notebook of medicine songs and medicinal receipts. Medicine songs are reproduced here in the original language, along with free translation in English. A description of the Medicine Lodge Society, known as Midewiwin, follows.
