Notes On Some 19Th Century Pima Burials

Description: 

During leveling a mound on a ranch just north of Casa Grande National Monument, several human skeletons were exposed. Approximately a dozen burials had been made in the mound; all but one were of adults. Burials with artifacts occurred in the 1850s or 1860s.
