Nutrition Survey Methods As Applied To Pacific Coast Canadian Indians

Description:

The problems of malnutrition encountered among Canadian Indians are no more acute than among other groups of the population and therefore the same methods of nutritional appraisal are used on both. Rickets is common. Canadian Indians and Eskimos have a considerable death rate from TB, but it is not significantly worse than the rate for particular groups of white population. No more or no different malnutrition has been discovered among Canadian Indians than among some sections of the white population.
