Serological Evidence Of Tularemia In Man In Alaska

Description:

Started in 1954, samples from 592 persons representing 20 towns or villages were tested. Twenty samples gave a positive reaction, representing 3.35% of the total tested. None of the positive reactions were from persons previously known or recognized clinical cases of tularemia. Neither has tularemia been reported from the areas in which they primarily reside.
