An Immunological Study Of The Canadian Indian

Description:

Eskimos living near larger settlements were found to be well immunized, but those living in less accessible areas were not as well protected. The low incidence of O and H agglutinins to all salmonella tested was rather surprising since sanitation is poor and living conditions are primitive. The results of serological tests for syphilis in 192 randomly selected sera suggest that this disease is not prevalent in the population studied. Map. Footnotes. Tables. Bibliography.
