The value of BCG vaccine in the control of TB among 8 Indian tribes living in 5 widely separated areas was investigated over a period of 20 years. Among the vaccinated, TB was responsible for 12.5% of all deaths, while among the controls, TB was responsible for 45.3% of all deaths. Tables. Bar charts. Bibliography.
