Some of the 15 reported cases of spinal diseases are of doubtful pre-Columbian origin and only 4 could be considered typical enough to represent presumed cases of TB. More evidence may be forthcoming by further analysis of skeletal material yet to be excavated or someone may invent a tuberculin test for dried bone. "Did TB exist in the prehistoric Indian?" must be answered in the negative. Poor graphics. Tables. Bibliography.
