There Are Few Cross-Eyed Eskimos.

Description:

When a mother discovers that her child is cross-eyed, she makes two attachments from medium-sized beads or any objects she can sew to the baby's cap so they will hang suspended on either side. This suspension the mother carefully measures so she can attach it at eye level. When the infant wears this "mobile," it attracts the eye span by its movements, providing constant exercise. The doctor's method is somewhat similar. Photo.
