Description:

Whole body counts were made of native Eskimos and non-native people in northwestern Alaska. Cesium-137 body burdens were generally related to amounts of caribou and reindeer consumed. Maximum Cs-137 body burdens occurred at Anaktuvuk Pass and minimum values among Point Hope residents. Tables. Bibliography.
