The Possibility Of Genotypic Adaptation To Cold In Man.

Given that "primitive man" has inhabited a wide variety of climatic zones, the author suggests that climatic adaptation may be the result of genotypic changes brought about by climatic pressures through time. The paper presents a synopsis of some studies of the different degrees of adaptation and explores whatever evidence is available of groups which have developed unusual methods of adaptation.
